Vintage Sewing Rollup Kit Etui Handpainted Silk and Original Box Spool Needle Case Book
Item Description:
Here's a dainty little vintage sewing kit with its original box. It appears to be Asian, and likely from the 1930s or 40s. The exterior is textured silk with handpainted floral decoration, and it is closed with a loop and a small button. It holds a wooden spool that also opens to hold needles,
and a wool page for needles and pins, as well as a metal thimble. The teal blue box is decorated with graphics that seem to have an Asian influence. Such a sweet piece

Condition:
Very good vintage condition; it appears to have seen little use. There is some wear to the silk on the button, otherwise it's in great shape (see photos).

Approx. 3 3/4" by 4 1/2" when open.
