    Description

    From a local estate, here is an old pair of scissors or shears. These are steel, about 13.25" end to end, with a brass center hinge that is marked with various info. The brass has a damaged section, but these are "R Heinisch Inventor Latest Patent 1859 Newark NJ."
    Solid condition overall, they do cut paper a little but will need to be sharpened and adjusted if you plan to use them as intended. Expect general age and patina but nothing really wrong with them. Definitely an old piece, hope you can use it.
