    Description

The Sweden 100 Kronor banknote was issued by the Sveriges Riksbank between 2004 and 2010. The banknotes obverse features pollinating plants, the Linnaeus garden located in Uppsala, and a portrait of naturalist Carl von Linne which was painted by Alexander Roslin. The front of the note also shows a microprinting of Linees motto OMNIA MIRARI ETIAM TRITISSIMA which means Find wonder in all things, even the most commonplace. The reverse of the 140 x 72 mm paper bill depicts a stylized flower fertilization, a bee, and a representation of a flower as seen through a multifaceted bees eyes. The banknote comes with a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with a demetalized 100 KRONOR. Its watermark reflects Carl von Linne and an electrotype 100. The note was printed by Tuba Bruk and bears the signatures of Bergqvist and Heikensten. This Sweden 100 Kronor banknote has been graded 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
