This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.

During the 1940s and 50s personal photo postcards were popular in the Netherlands.  On the front of this glossy vintage  postcard is a rare portrait of 5 delightful Fox Terrier puppies.  They are nestled closely together and the scene is heartwarming and timeless!
On the back is a short handwritten message in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands, a missing stamp and a faded postmark.    It was originally made in the Netherlands circa 1950.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from very few signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
