    Description

    Ornate Antique Brass Scissors Chatelaine
    Germany * Circa 1890s
These fancy brass scissors are in a brass sheath hanging from a brass chatelaine waist plaque. The scissors have steel blades and l
ittle angel faces look down from the scissors bows. The sheath has a variety of classical motifs including a Greek or Roman warrior. The waste plaque is modeled as an angel above a variety of fruit and the clip on the back is strong.
The steel blades have sharp points and they cut very well to the tips.
The scissors and sheath are both in excellent condition with no dents or damage and the scissors fit securely.
The scissors measure 4 7/8" long and the chatelaine is 12 1/4" long from the top to the bottom of the sheath.
