New Hand Made Large 50 Caliber Bullet Brass and Walnut Ballpoint Twist Pen P029

Brand new hand made previously fired 50 caliber bullet converted into a twist ballpoint pen with a grip hand turned from Walnut wood.
It is NOT stained or dyed.
The grip portion of the barrel was skillfully hand turned from rough solid Walnut wood by us here in our shop in Michigan (USA). Each rough stock blank that we create our pieces from is unique, ensuring that no two are alike. After shaping, the Walnut grip was then sealed and finished with at least 15 coats of strong and very durable cyanoacrylate (CA) and then polished and buffed to a beautifully glass smooth and reflective high gloss finish with no open pores or grains. The end results are not only visually striking but also extremely durable and able to withstand moisture and handling without fear of damage. No stains or dyes are ever used. What you are seeing is the natural beauty and color of the Walnut wood itself preserved, sealed and stabilized beneath the crystal clear finish.
We prefer to leave the brass alone and let it naturally tarnish with age without polishing. This ballpoint pen operates by twisting the body. It comes ready loaded with a new black ink refill and will accept Parker style refills. The measurements are shown in the photos. Display stand is not included.
