Vintage New Bright Fire Engine 230 in Original Box
Sirens, lights, driving forward and backward, and a ladder that extends and comes back down are all activated with the remote control of this old Fire Engine. Wow! If you love old fire engines, this big red one in its bigger box will impress you.
Eager to move, this big Fire Engine was fun to test. It has great flashing lights and sound, too. Its black remote control is connected to the Fire Engine by a long black cord that has some white Styrofoam stuck to it. The remote control has an off/on switch and an indicator light. The Engine needs
6 C batteries that are not included.
Fire Truck may have been used once or may have never been actually used. Its battery compartments are clean and have been stored empty. When I placed new C batteries in it for these photos, the Fire Engine did everything it promised except turn. The
Fire Engine would not turn left or right
, and the extended
ladder would not swivel left or right
. This could have been operator error/ignorance; hopefully it is something that might be fixed
Everything else on the Fire Engine seems new and unused, with no damage to the many stickers/labels or other pieces. Fire Engine is secure in its irritating styrofoam lining inside the big, colorful cardboard box. Use zoom feature on photos to see each side.
No manual or instructions are included beyond the colorful information printed all over the big box. Two extra side mirrors are included. Truck is plastic.
Fire Truck is about 26" l by 6" w by 9" h with ladder down; Box is 32" by 7" by 13"
