Hi. For you consideration is a Land O Tackle Whistler Bobber Chicago. There is rust, corrosion, scratches, dings, etc. on this bobber.
I cleaned off the bobber with soap and water. I vaguely remember after cleaning it that the whistle did not work, or work too well. But since drying, I think the whistle works much better.
Sometimes, I use a paper towel and water to clean lures and reels, etc. Since we have a water softener, there is salt in the water, which may or may not cause further damage to the item.
