The Pencil uses standard 2MM lead refills ( I also have them in stock if needed) and the Pen Uses a standard Parker style refill. Both are available at most all office supply stores.

Box Elder Burl is one of the most beautiful, rare, expensive, and difficult burls to find.  A burl is an abnormal growth that typically grows on the outside of the tree, usually near the main trunk.  Each "eye" of the burl could have grown into a tree branch, which causes the grain to grow in many directions.  The result is exquisite swirling grain.
This pencil functions in almost the same way as all others mechanical pencils, but also offers some new features as well as a different look. The plunger at the rear of the pen is used to advance the 2mm lead (these pencils have a thicker more durable type of lead). The plunger is unscrewed to reveal a recess on the inside that is a sharpener for the 2mm lead
.  When the plunger at the rear of the pen is unscrewed it also exposes an eraser.  A detailed instruction sheet will be sent with each pencil.

I have been a woodworker for over 20 years, making everything from complete custom cabinetry, to bowls, boxes, and pens on the lathe.  However, due to health issues, I now only turn projects on the lathe in order to give myself something to do for the few hours a day I can stand. The insurance will allow the item to be tracked all of the way to delivery. The standard USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box does not track the item once it leaves the United States, so it is imperative that the insurance is purchased.
