Great original antique Patented 1871 & 1874 buttonhole cutter and
gauge
. The piece is period and looks to be nickel plated brass(magnet does not stick to it). It is inscribed on both sides "PATENTED  JUNE 27,1871  FEB 3,1874". It seems to be in great working condition. The piece measures approx. 2 1/2" x 1/2". It is in very good original condition with light normal wear consistent with its age and use, otherwise
no cracks, breaks or repairs. Please look at all the photos to get a good idea of the true condition, the photos are part of the description. Shipping is based on the estimated weight and dimensions of the packed item(s).
