You are bidding on a large original antique print from an 1880s illustrated journal. The quality of the printing from that era was exceptional.
The print depicts a young sailer on a ship feeding hungry smooth fox terrier dogs. Presmumably they will grow up to be ratters or mascots on the ship.
The print
is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 11 x 16 inches (28 x 40.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a caption below.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
