Some of these Viyella gauges are marked Patents Pending or they may have a patent date.  This one has neither.  The patent for these gauges was made in 1932 and was accepted in 1934.
It is 1 1/2" tall, 1 1/2" across the top and is in excellent working condition.  There are a few spots where the black background has worn off.
