Antique Treen Sewing Clamp w/ Blue Velvet Pin Cushion - Sewing Tool
Item Description:
Here's an early wooden sewing clamp with a simple, nicely turned form and topped with a royal blue velvet pin cushion. These clamps were attached to the sewing table to hold down the cloth as the person was working on it. It has an original varnish with a light yellow tint. Likely dates from the late 19th or early 20th c.
Condition:
Very good antique condition, with minor wear to the varnish in places (see photos).
