Antique Sterling Silver Sewing Scissors Embroidery Decorative Needlework Tool
Item Description:
Here's a darling pair of small sewing / needlework scissors
from the 19th c. The handles have egg-shaped bows and delicate engraved decoration. In addition to being lovely they are also functional and cut well. The handles are sterling silver - there is a hallmark on each handle. I polished them lightly to bring out the design; you may wish to polish them even more or leave as they are.
Condition:
Very good antique condition. The screw holding the blades together has a bit of - early - wear. There's also light surface rust near the hinge, which I haven't attempted to clean. (see photos).

Approx. 3 1/2".
