Antique Sterling Silver Daisy Embroidery Scissors
American * Circa 1890s
These little antique sterling silver handled scissors have nicely detailed daisies embossed on the shanks with scrolling foliage around the bows. They are marked "Sterling". The blades are marked "Germany" as that's where American silver makers bought their steel blades in the late 19th century.
The condition of the silver is excellent with no dents or other damage. They measure 3 1/2" long. The steel blades are tight with sharp points and they cut paper very well.
