    Description

Antique Sterling Silver Chatelaine Tape Measure
    English * Hallmarked 1900
This pretty little chatelaine tape measure is solid sterling silver. The round form is embossed with scrolls on both sides.
It has the English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1900 and the maker's mark for Henry Matthews. It is also marked with the British Registration number (Rd 267219). This is like a copyright to protect the design.  A crank on one side turns to wind in the tape and it works well. It has the original and complete red silk tape.
The condition is excellent with no dents, repairs or other damage. It has a silver chain and ring to attach it to a chatelaine. It measures about 1" in diameter and is 2 1/2" from the top of the ring to the bottom of the tape.
I stand behind everything that I offer and
