Antique Sterling Silver 925 Grape Shears Scissors S. Kirk & Son  1868-1890.
Beautiful pair of antique grape shears or scissors manufactured by S. Kirk & So between 1868-1890.
Elaborately decorated with a grapevine and grape theme which starts at the shaft and runs up to create the finger rings. Draped around the grapevine are grapes and grape leaves with clusters of grapes on the bows. On the inside of the finger rings are larger leaves. Marked on the inside of each shaft 925 on one side and S. Kirk & Son on the other side. Great piece of silver to add to you collection, or of course to cut your grapes.
Measures approx 6" long.
Good antique condition to commensurate with age. No splits, dents or damage. The blades have some discoloration and have some give, but cuts nicely.
