Antique Primitive Pair of Early Hand Forged IRON Scissors Signed AFA

Wonderful, Antique, Rare, Hand-Forged Scissors; Signed; w/ Make-Do;
Up for your consideration is this pair of Antique Hand-Forged Iron Scissors. I believe they were used for cutting heavy-weight material. These were used and loved. The iron is worn very thin on the handles. So thin in fact that someone early on made a make-do 'wrap' for the one side - so they could continue to be used. The make-do is made of very thin pieces of cotton wrapped tightly around the one handle. They measure 11 inches in length, 5 inches in width (at the widest point) and .5 of an inch in depth (measured at the pivot screw). These are 'signed' by the blacksmith - I think they read
Jorona Tremp
(the surname Tremp is most well-know in Switzerland).
It's a wonderful piece of Folk Art.
