antique leather shears / antique blacksmith shears? / antique tinner shears

Description

a very good working shears of some sort, that I carefully removed the thick cutter blades from, and sharpened them. They will now even cut paper. The length measuring from the top of the little saw pony, to the top of the handle is around 52".  If someone knows what it was actually designed to cut, I would like to know. I am listing it as " for local pickup only " but if someone is really interested, they should contact me about shipping.      Thank you for viewing.
