Antique German Bakelite Mechanical Mantle Clock Sewing Tape Measure circa 1900

Description

Offered here is an antique figural Bakelite Mantle Clock sewing tape measure that was made in Germany circa 1900. This Victorian Era tape measure is retractable and when you extend the tape the hands on the clock move. The clock case is in excellent condition. It measures 3" in length and is 2 1/4" in height. The tape extends from the back. One side is red and marked in inches and the other side is white and marked in centimeters. The red has bled onto the white side from being stored for years. The tape still extends and retracts as intended and the mantle clock case is perfect.
