Antique French 4-Piece Solid Silver Sewing Set with Case, circa 1900

This Victorian style antique looks very dainty and is decorated with small forget-me-not flowers.
Great collectibles to use or showcase!  All items are made of silver and are fitted in their respective places in an antique jewelry case.  All parts are complete and functional.  All of them are decorated with small forget-me-not flowers, all have the corresponding brands of the manufacturer, and all are hallmarked as solid silver with the image of a French boar head. Tiny, even with a 10x loupe.
This set was made in Paris, France, produced by Charles Eugene Guy, with stamps in use from 6/1884 to 12/1921.
DIMENSIONS: Scissors - 3.5 ", awl - about 3", thimble - 1", case for storing needles 3.4".
The storage case is made of wood with a black varnish finish.  The lid of the case has a small silver plate engraved with the initials СР.  The thimble is also engraved with the initials СР.  The top of the case has a hairline crack, you can see it in the photo. In the same area, the lower case edge is split which extends about 3/4" on the bottom. It is a very fine, hairline crack. There is NO depression on the case lid, just an optical affect from a circular lamp. The latch is complete but appears non-functional. We lack the experience needed to trouble-shoot and repair.
The tools have no deep scratches, dents or damage.  The scissors are sharp and will cut thread, but they could use a slight tightening of the pivot screw. The silver looks very nice with a perfect patina.  A very beautiful and elegant set decorated with small forget-me-not flowers.
This antique set is circa 1900 and in very good condition.  Consider the photos as your guide to it's condition.
