Antique Enamel on Copper Etui
Here we have a very clean enamel on copper etui used for holding sewing needles or other sewing tools, or possibly sealing wax. The etui features gadrooned sides with enameled decorations along the crests of the
contours. To me the etui has more of a French feeling than English, and I would say it dates to circa 1790 - 1820. As I mentioned in my condition report, it is one of the cleanest etui's I have owned. Enjoy ! (NOTE : The display stand is NOT included with purchase)
