ANTIQUE Beautifully carved World War 1 SEWING ETUI

Description

This beautifully carved little sewing kit is carved wood and was issued to French soldiers during World War I.
The top has 3 spools for thread and the base (when opened) contains a needle case.
The condition has signs of age and use as described.
It measures 4 3/4" long..
