Vertical metal rod measures every 1/2" up to 10". Horizontal bar adjusts to desired height and secured with thumb screw. Rod shows some wear between 6 1/2" and 8" (probably indicative of hemlines of the time it was widely used.
Adorned with gilt gold decal  "Patented July 17 1906" here in the US "Torchon Lace & Mercantile Co. St. Louis Mo." Decal shows minor scratching. Base has some small chips.
Measures about 11" tall.  Arm reaches out about 9"  Base is 4-1/2" round x 1/2" thick. Total weight about 1-1/2 lbs alone

I bought this at a farm auction in central Illinois in the 1970's and used it as decoration for my sewing room for many years. It has always been stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
Will be shipped in one package with three pieces which can be easily reassembled: base, rod, adjustable arm.
