This is a c1800 Treen castle is 7 piece ETUI with sew spool and thimble holder pin cushion tape measure,
in excellent condition.
The removable pieces include a center pin cushion. Twist up the center tower of the castle to reveal the large cushion. The top point comes off.  Next is a Complete (replacement) tape measure, the original incinerated due to age.  The thimble holder is an acorn shaped with the Thimble. The small tower pin cushion opens up into 2 pieces to reveal a mini cushion. There are 2 spools & reel holder and the final piece is a waxer.
Together this makes an incredible beautiful wooden table top ETUI in INCREDIBLE condition.

This  treen castle is 7 piece ETUI with sew spool and thimble holder pin cushion tape measure, 18th Century.
The material is treen in excellent condition. The size is approximately 4" x 2". The origin is continental.
The removable pieces include a center pin cushion. Twist up the center tower of the castle to reveal the large cushion. The top point comes off. The tape measure is a very delicate silk kings measure that start at 1N. The thimble holder is an acorn (thimble not included). The small tower pin cushion opens up into 2 pieces to reveal a mini cushion. There are 2 reels. Reel 1 is a removable reel that is included. Reel 2 is a gorgeous reel already in place. Reel 3 is clear ready for a bobbin (thread not included).
Together this makes an incredible beautiful table top ETUI in almost perfect condition. It would be mint except that the silk of tape measure is naturally breaking down after 300 years.
