    Description

    5 Bordallo Pinheiro of Portugal forest green pottery plates, their 2” rims decorated with raised pine needles and pine cones. Some versions of this pattern are solid green: the pine cones on these are brown - which adds much more texture to the set. At 12” in diameter, these are often used as chargers or chop plates - but, with the plain, 8” center area, they’d make a perfect dinner plate with pizazz. Heavy. Each plate weighs 2 lbs.
    Condition: a small chip on the edge of two and some scuffing on most. Please see the last three pictures these issues.
